madmaxthesniperI printed out circles on paper, which came out to be 10.75mm in diamther:
Glued them on mother of pearl medallions, that's where I differ from people - I do not care if I have to sacrifice the entire thing just for one part, even if I can fit two in it - texture is everything in this case.
Than used jeweler saw I cut pieces out:
Using waterstones, I thinned the pieces:
And glued them into place using extra-strong epoxy:
It came out breathtakingly good.
