Fist of all, I got the scrap of the same damascus steel as a blade and rounded it out.

Please dont ask me how. Just used the sander and some elbow grease. Then I brought it to the lathe and formed the end piece, which will go into the blade:

So it fits tightly into the blade:

Then using the jeweler's saw I cut two groves for the epoxy:

Formed and heat-threated the piece using hand-held gas torch:

Kia helped me alot the next step - she held the piece while I applied the epoxy and hammered the end of the handle:


Now all I have to wait is for the epoxy to harden, which will take about.. who knows.. overnight for sure, and then the next step will take place.
