madmaxthesniperAfter choosing the right screws for the job, I finished the holes for them so they can stay sank:
Then started to thread the bolster pieces.
АХ ТЫ ЕБАНЫЙ ЖЕШЬ НАХУЙ!!!1! Kia was standing by and exitedly writing down new turns of the russian-english mix. And of course little motherfucker broke in such a way that you cannot grab it with pliers. And prerie-dogging from the other side.
Ok, this type of force-major is happening to EVERY project. If you will get discouraged by things like this - don't even start it to begin with.
To my distress, I never succeded of taking little pieces like this before. And I know alot of things just don't work up. So - desperate measures.
I cut the drill bit so I can have the straight strong ans small metal rod. Then took this:
.. heated the bolster till it glows and beat the shit out of stuck piece.
IT CAME OUT.
Little son of a bitch! Almost gave me a heart attack. Now I have to assess the damage and decide on what screws to use next. Enough for one evening.

Date: 2012-03-07 04:47 pm (UTC)Я на днях пытался нарезать резьбу М4 плашкой... сускасукасука! Походу, плашка кЕтайская, там 3-4 витка, плашка тонкая, экономят суки металл. Естессно эти 3 витка благополучно срезают то, что успевают "нарезать"! Запоров сантиметр шпильки и уебавшись, кагбудто нарезАл резьбу М400, плюнул, теперь вот думаю а) где взять советскую плашку; б) тупо припаять кусок шпильки с готовой резьбой
