Brent: glueing the templates.
Jan. 11th, 2012 08:53 amUsing the soft light glue, I put the outlines on the steel to make sure that patterns will match. Then, using the strong industrial glue, I put the cutouts inside.

grozab was absolutely right - blade must be reversed to match the bolsters, yesterday I put the "wrong" side to show the steel pattern, since the other side of the billett is not that presentable.

By this evening glue should be completely dry, so I can start drilling and cutting. Only one thing - the ends of sides might be too close to cracks in billets - will see, if it clears - it will be by mere half millimeter.
