Brent: polish.

Bolsters, blade and th elock were polished with: 150, 320, 600, 1200 and 2500 grit snadpaper till they mildly.. mirrorish. All done by hand.









It's not exactly the mirror you used to see, but this is damascus steel - I call it "lazy man steel", cause the pattern of the damascus hides all the blemishes and unevens of the surface, so the better finish is simply not necessary - whatever I've done is already an overkill.

I finished off with the Dremel cloth wheel and red rouge compound, just in case.

As I said, this step didn't ake that long - 150 grit took care of all of the major surface imperfections before I took finer sandpaper in my hands.

Beauty jumps out soon, very soon, you will not belive your eyes.
